We are here for you in emergencies

Central Veterinary Emergency has been servicing the Central Victorian region for a decade. Our Vets and Nurses are all trained to care for your pet in any emergency. We run on a triage basis with the most critical patients being attended to in a timely manner.

CVE is open from 6PM Friday to 12AM Monday and all public holidays. A vet and Nurse will remain on call from 12AM to assist your pet in life threatening emergencies. We are located in the McIvor Road Veterinary Centre Bendigo 29A Micheal Street, Kennington.

We are equipped with the latest in radiography, ultrasonography, endoscopy, in house pathology, fully equipped surgery and consult rooms. We are unable to attend house calls or facilitate large animals.

DUE TO THE NATIONWIDE VET SHORTAGE, WE ARE UNABLE TO STAFF THE CLINIC FROM MIDNIGHT SUNDAY

Clinic Hours

We operate from 6PM Friday to 8.30 AM Monday and every Public Holiday. Our phones are diverted to our external triage services after 12AM. A Vet and a Nurse will remain on call to assist with LIFE-THREATENING EMERGENCIES.

For week day emergencies, please call your regular clinic to be put through to the after hours clinic for that night.

Due to a nationwide Vet shortage, we are unable to provide an on-call service on Sunday nights, you may be referred to a Melbourne clinic.
