Toxin Ingestion

There are many things around the home that are toxic to your pets.

Some things that are toxic to dogs include:

- Fertilisers

- Lillies 

- Xylitol (an artificial sweetener)

- Medications

Symptoms of a toxin injection can range in severity and include:

- Excessive panting

- Hypersalivation (drooling)

- collapse

- Seizures

- Arrhythmia

- Kidney failure

- Death

If you think your animal has eaten something that is toxic, call the clinic and bring them in for treatment.
